A Children's Hearing is Scotland's unique system for protecting children and young people, through a decision making lay tribunal called the Children's Panel.

The Children's Hearing system can be daunting for those involved, particularly for the first time. The Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 provides a set of rules and guidelines that Children's Hearings must follow.
